Upcoming races

I made a list of races that I may do this year.

April 15, 2007. Austin Cactus Challenge triathlon. 1500 m swim, 26 mile bike, 10K run. Last year this was low key and a bit disorganized, but its close to home.

May 5, 2007. "Shoes for Austin 5K". I like the course, it finishes with a nasty hill. In the past they have had good prizes for age-division winners (Mizuno sports bags).

May 20, 2007. Open water 5K swim at Lake Travis. I've done this one the past 2 years.

June 24, 2007. Buffalo Springs Lake triathlon. Lubbock, TX. 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile (hilly) bike, 13.1 mile run. This race has lots of top athetes from all over, lots of very fast people. I hope to improve on my time from last year.

July 15, 2007. Ironhead Dallas triathlon. 1500 m swim, 40K bike, 10K run.

August 12, 2007. Wool Capital Triathlon. San Angelo, TX. 1500 m swim, 40K bike, 10K run.

Sept. 9, 2007. Prairie Man triathlon. Grand Prairie, TX. 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.

Oct. 7, 2007. Longhorn triathlon. Austin. 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.

Oct. 28, 2007. Ironstar triathlon, Conroe, TX. 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.
